BANSHEE, 2024

Banshee is a collaborative music video between filmmaker and photographer Alexis Ioannou and singer, songwriter and published Australian author Georgina Young shot on regional locations throughout Victoria, Australia. Banshee explores a scorned woman's connection with the natural world, as she moves through beautiful and jagged landscapes that appear at times on the verge of enveloping her. Both woman and environment reveal the tempestuousness of life and living, the shadows that lurk in the most serene of natures, as well as the fearless and ever present light. Banshee is a story of vengeance and the sublime, of sorrow and seeking comfort in the earth from which we have come.
